This full-time, on-site position is for a Class 2 HGV Driver based in Slimbridge. The role involves operating and driving Class 2 HGV vehicles to deliver and collect hire equipment efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities include:- Adhering to delivery schedules
- Liaising with customers
- Conducting pre-and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensuring compliance with safety and legal requirements
- Unloading equipment using the vehicle's built-in mechanisms as needed
- Possession of a valid CPC and experience driving Class 2 HGV vehicles
- NPORS Load & Secure and NPORS Plant Movers (or equivalent) ideal
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety standards
- Previous experience in a similar role or within the plant hire industry is required
