Job Description

Our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) organisation partner with a range of global customers, working closely with major airlines such as British Airways, easyJet, Wizz Air, Iberia, Vueling, Air Canada, Etihad and Qatar.
What will I be doing?
Working at our MRO site as a key member of the Logistics team in a busy environment, you will be responsible for a range of activities to support the receipt and despatch of components while conforming to regulatory and procedural requirements. You will be supporting the Production Teams in all general activities to achieve our customer\βs expectations. This is a multi-tasking, support based role.
Key Responsibilities & Duties;
β’ Goods Inwards Receiving, To insure Landing gear components are inducted in to the company effectively and administration tasks are completed
β’ Goods Inwards Surveying, Inspecting new parts, processed parts & consumables are inducted in to the company and administration tasks are completed
β’ Packing, Despatch and Loading activities of all products company wide (some heavy lifting)
β’ Delivery of all items to internal customers
β’ Communicate with internal supervision to confirm component delivery & receipt
β’ Manage stock & condition of packing cases and packaging materials
β’ Management of documentation associated to the disposal/mutilation of scrap parts
β’ Participation in continuous improvement activities to improve operational processes and customer satisfaction
β’ Understand KPIs and ensure targets are met
β’ Competent to carry out cargo security checks and approve consignment for shipping
β’ Business support within range of competency

Job Requirements
β’ Current and valid Fork Lift Driver Licence
β’ Lifting & Slinging experience
β’ Full UK Driving Licence
β’ DBS certificate
β’ Experience of working in a warehouse or distribution centre
β’ Excellent communication skills
β’ Ability to multi task and prioritise workload
β’ Can do, positive attitude and a flexible approach
β’ Intermediate level of numeric and literacy skills, with high attention to detail
