What You’ll Be Doing
We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our sales and marketing team. Your main task is to find and qualify new business leads for our construction enterprise solutions in the UK. You will be the first point of contact for potential customers, help them see the value of our products, and pass them to the Business Development team. This role is a good starting point if you want to grow into a full sales or account management role in the future.
Your main tasks will be:
- Researching and identifying companies that could benefit from our software.
- Making contact and qualifying: Approaching leads via email, phone, and social media and understanding their needs and seeing if they are a good fit for us.
- Working closely with the sales team to ensure leads move through the process smoothly.
- Recording and updating all records in the CRM software (Salesforce).
What Skills & Experience You Could Bring?
- Experience of generating leads via multiple platforms.
- Ability to quickly develop and maintain a high level of knowledge of divisional software products and remain current on product knowledge.
- Knowledge of the construction industry would be helpful but not essential.
- Strong customer-service orientation and commitment to ensuring timely, quality solutions to customer issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Listen effectively, transmit information accurately and understandably, and actively seek feedback.
- Experience of updating CRM software e.g. Salesforce or similar is a plus.

About Your Location:
This is a hybrid position in our Newcastle Upon Tyne office. Your expected office days are Tuesday and Wednesday. You can arrive at the office very easily via Metro or Railway, as the station is only 5 minutes walk from the office. We also have onsite parking available.
