We’re looking for a hands-on, client-facing Beverage & Event Operations Manager to join our growing events team. This role is central to the successful delivery of high-end events, working closely with Sales, Events, and Warehouse teams to plan, organise and execute exceptional experiences across a portfolio of prestigious venues.
The Role
You’ll take ownership of the operational delivery of events, ensuring they are executed to a consistently high standard while meeting client expectations and venue requirements. You’ll lead front- and back-of-house teams, manage service flow, and play a key role in beverage operations, stock control, and supplier coordination. This is a dynamic role combining event operations, client relationship management, and drinks-led commercial awareness.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Sales Team in planning, organising and delivering all operational aspects of events
- Lead FOH and BOH teams, ensuring high-end service standards are consistently met
- Produce and communicate clear, detailed Event Notes across the business
- Manage event service flow, including leading dinner service (up to large-scale events)
- Prepare accurate, event-specific RAMS and H&S documentation
- Order and manage hired equipment and supplier relationships, supporting cost control
- Attend site visits and tastings with clients to identify operational requirements
- Act as a key point of contact for venues (managing relationships across multiple sites)
- Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their preferences and expectations
- Collaborate with Warehouse teams to manage beverage orders, stock control and GP optimisation
- Support wine list management, ensuring accuracy of product and vintages
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding and training of FOH team members
- Contribute to continuous improvement of operational efficiency across the business
About You
- Proven experience in event or hospitality operations
- Strong understanding of both FOH/BOH delivery and event service flow
- Confident leading teams and managing live events under pressure
- Experience with beverage operations, stock control, or drinks management is highly desirable
- Highly organised, detail-focused and an excellent communicator
- Comfortable working directly with clients, venues and internal teams
- Commercially aware, with a focus on cost control and profitability
- Passionate about delivering high-end guest experiences
