In a collective impact project with the High Sheriff of Nottinghamshire, Police and Crime Commissioner and some fantastic local partners and businesses, RockCorps are producing a concert at Rock City in April—the only way to get a ticket is to earn it by giving 4 hours of time at one of 20 Nottingham RockCorps volunteer projects. RockCorps is currently recruiting its operational team for this programme. Working under the supervision of the Project Leaders, the Project Coordinators are responsible for creating and executing around ten community projects between March 21 and April 8, 2026, as part of the Nottingham RockCorps programme. Projects take place on weekdays and/or weekends. This position requires flexibility in terms of schedule.
Who are we? RockCorps is a pro-social marketing and entertainment company. We use music and culture to inspire action, providing the tools and opportunities for people to engage in their community through volunteering. One person, one concert, one city at a time: we mobilize a generation to change the world. Our platform is based on the "Give, Get Given" concept. We organize concerts where the only way to get a ticket is to participate in a 4-hour local volunteering project. To date, more than 200,000 volunteers have attended over 50 RockCorps concerts around the world. These volunteers have completed more than 800,000 hours of work benefiting over 2,700 associations and charities worldwide. Artists who have participated include Rihanna, Lady Gaga, David Guetta, Pharrell, Kanye West, Snoop Dogg, Maroon 5, A$AP Rocky, Ellie Goulding, Nas, Macklemore, Black Eyed Peas...
Main Responsibilities:
- Working with the rest of the projects team, plan and execute around ten community projects (painting, DIY, cleaning, gardening, sorting...) over 4 weeks, in the Nottingham area
- Identify, order, prepare and manage the equipment and supplies necessary for implementing each project
- Ensure, with the entire projects team, the production of these community projects, including: setup, welcoming and registration of volunteers, briefing and overseeing the tasks, health
