Rockbourne has been retained to help appoint a Chief Financial Officer to lead, scale and institutionalise our clients' financial ecosystem. This is a rare opportunity to join a highly secure long-term real estate investment platform that will scale significantly over the coming years. Working directly with the CEO and the leadership team, you will take full ownership of the financial team and play a pivotal role in shaping an emerging UK leader in the acquisition, development and management of income-generating properties.

This individual will take full ownership of the finance function within a growing real estate investment platform. The role spans strategic finance, structuring, reporting, and operational oversight, with responsibility for building and running a best-in-class finance capability as the business scales.

The Role Core Responsibilities
- Ownership and continuous improvement of financial statements under IFRS and UK GAAP, ensuring they are robust, clean, and investor-ready.
- Institutionalising reporting processes so that numbers are consistent across property management systems, models, bank statements, audits, and financial accounts.
- Oversight of the full finance function, including property accounting, fund and investor reporting, audits, and lender reporting.
- Preparing the business for third-party capital, including tax structuring input, fund or JV structures, and regulatory considerations.
- Acting as CEO’s right-hand partner on all financial, structural, and strategic matters.
About You
- Senior finance background within real estate, private equity, or fund environments.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Experience preparing and presenting information for investors and boards.
- Exposure to fund, JV, or regulated structures, with awareness of FCA and AIFM considerations.
- Proven ownership mentality and strong time management.
- Understanding of UK real estate asset classes, particularly offices and retail warehousing.
- Prior exposure to fund structuring, AIFM environments, or regulated investment platforms.
- Fundraising or investor interaction experience.
