We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Associate Data Coach to join our growing training team at Rockborne. This is a key role in supporting the development of our consultants, delivering high-quality, engaging training that empowers graduates and professionals to build practical data and analytics skills. This position will suit someone who is confident presenting and teaching, able to simplify complex concepts, and motivated to keep learning new tools and technologies. Prior experience teaching, tutoring, or coaching (in person or online) is highly valued, though we are also open to candidates with strong data experience who have demonstrated mentoring or training capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions across core data tools and concepts, including:
- Excel (data analysis, pivot tables, formulas, charts)
- SQL (queries, joins, aggregations)
- Data Visualisation (Power BI and/or Tableau)
- Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Teach both internal consultants and external corporate clients, adapting delivery to different audiences and skill levels.
- Create and maintain training content, exercises, and learning resources.
- Support learners through practical exercises, coaching, and feedback.
- Stay current with new tools and technologies to keep training materials relevant.
- Work collaboratively with senior coaches while independently managing your own workload and schedule.
Person Specification
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners.
- Teaching, training, tutoring, or coaching experience (academic, professional, or online).
- Practical knowledge of Excel and SQL; familiarity with Python and/or Cloud Platforms is an advantage.
- A self‑starter who can plan and manage their own time effectively.
- Enthusiastic about continuous learning and professional development.
- Confident delivering to groups, both in person and virtually.
- Ideally degree‑educated in a related field (e.g. Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics), though not essential.
