About Rockborne
Rockborne is an award-winning data and AI consultancy with a clear mission: to help businesses unlock the true value of their data by building stronger, more capable data teams. We do this by deploying diverse, early-career data consultants who are trained to hit the ground running, as well as delivering broader consultancy services including project delivery, training programmes, and strategic support. Our clients include major brands across sectors like retail, energy, finance, and the public sector. From placing an individual consultant into a client’s team to running entire data transformation programmes, we tailor our solutions to what organisations need to succeed.
What You’ll Get
- A competitive base salary with a generous commission
- Hybrid working model (2–3 days/week in our central London WeWork or on client site)
- Regular support from SDRs, sales leadership, and enablement tools (e.g. Sales Navigator, SourceWhale)
- Autonomy to shape your sales approach, while being part of a supportive, close-knit team
- Exposure to varied enterprise clients and a growing portfolio of impactful services
- A high-growth environment with a strong focus on diversity, inclusion, and long-term industry change
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a commercially driven Sales Account Manager to join Rockborne’s high-performing commercial team. This is not a traditional account management role, around 70% of your time will be spent winning new enterprise clients, with the remaining 30% focused on growing and expanding existing accounts. You’ll manage the full sales lifecycle across Rockborne’s end-to-end consultancy offering, from initial outreach through to closing deals and seeing consultants deployed or programmes delivered. With the support of a strong SDR team, you’ll still be expected to bring your own network, ideas, and commercial creativity to the table. If you thrive on solution selling, enjoy building trusted relationships, and want to work closely with senior data stakeholders, this is a chance to make a meaningful impact in a fast-growing, purpose-driven business.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage a strong new business pipeline, particularly within enterprise clients
- Win and grow accounts through a consultative, value-led sales approach
- Sell Rockborne’s full offering: embedded consultants, training programmes, and consulting projects
- Lead client meetings, scope challenges, and develop tailored solutions
- Collaborate with SDRs, delivery, training, and senior leadership teams
- Stay close to developments in the data and analytics market to speak credibly with clients
- Represent Rockborne through in-person meetings, events, and industry networking
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally selling services or consulting solutions
- Demonstrated success in new business development, with enterprise-level clients
- Confidence running full sales cycles and navigating senior stakeholder conversations
- Ability to build pipeline independently and work closely with SDRs to maximise results
- Commercially minded, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-moving, scale-up setting
- Interest or experience in the data, analytics, or tech space (knowledge can be developed)
- A consultative communicator who can quickly build trust and credibility
If you’re ready to take the next step in your sales career, and want to do it somewhere where your work has real impact, we’d love to hear from you.
