We’re now looking for a Data Trainer (Associate Level) to join our growing training team. This is an ideal role for someone coming out of academia or a data role who’s passionate about teaching, coaching, and making complex concepts click.
What you’ll be doing
- You’ll design and deliver engaging, practical sessions that build confidence and competence in key data tools, including:
- SQL (queries, joins, aggregations)
- Power BI / Tableau (data visualisation and dashboards)
- Data Modelling (relational and dimensional concepts)
- Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Support learners through practical exercises and real-world data challenges
- Create and refine training materials and documentation
- Collaborate with senior coaches to enhance the curriculum
- Keep learning yourself, exploring new technologies each year to stay current

- Curious and proactive, keen to pick up new technologies and techniques
- Able to simplify complex ideas and communicate them clearly
- Comfortable working independently and structuring their own day

You’ll likely have:
- Experience in data analysis, engineering, or research using analytical tools
- Strong familiarity with Excel, SQL, and Python
- Some prior experience teaching, tutoring, or mentoring – whether in academia, bootcamps, or workplace training (or if you’re coming from a commercial background, experience presenting your technical concepts to non‑technical audiences)
- An understanding of cloud platforms or data pipelines (a bonus but not essential)
