Role Overview:
You will join a domestic heating maintenance team, carrying out servicing, breakdowns and repairs on gas central heating systems within residential properties. The role requires strong diagnostic skills, the ability to work independently, and a high standard of compliance with current legislation and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair domestic gas heating systems and appliances
- Complete servicing, maintenance and reactive call-outs
- Ensure work is carried out safely, professionally and to regulatory standards
- Provide excellent customer service to tenants and clients
- Maintain accurate job records and compliance documentation
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- ACS Domestic Gas qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1
- Energy Efficiency qualification (or willing to obtain)
- Asbestos Awareness certificate (training can be provided)
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Minimum 5 years experience preferred but not essential
- Proven experience diagnosing faults on domestic gas heating systems
Desirable:
- Previous domestic repair experience
- Additional gas or renewable qualifications
- Strong first-time fix rate
