We are seeking an experienced and reliable Multi-Trader to join our growing team, delivering high-quality property maintenance and repair services across Hertfordshire. This is a full-time, permanent position suited to a skilled professional with a broad range of trade capabilities and a strong customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out a variety of repair, maintenance, and refurbishment tasks across residential properties
- Deliver multi-trade work including (but not limited to) carpentry, plumbing, tiling, patch plastering, and basic electrical work
- Diagnose faults and determine the most effective repair solutions
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, in line with company and industry regulations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Communicate effectively with tenants, clients, and colleagues
- Accurately record job details, materials used, and time spent
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Multi-Trader or in a similar role
- Strong skills across multiple trades (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, decorating)
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
Desirable
- Relevant trade qualifications (NVQ or equivalent)
- Experience working in social housing or property maintenance environments
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations (e.g., COSHH, risk assessments)
