Role Overview:

You will join a domestic heating maintenance team, carrying out servicing, breakdowns and repairs on gas central heating systems within residential properties. The role requires strong diagnostic skills, the ability to work independently, and a high standard of compliance with current legislation and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair domestic gas heating systems and appliances
  • Complete servicing, maintenance and reactive call-outs
  • Ensure work is carried out safely, professionally and to regulatory standards
  • Provide excellent customer service to tenants and clients
  • Maintain accurate job records and compliance documentation

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • ACS Domestic Gas qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1
  • Energy Efficiency qualification (or willing to obtain)
  • Asbestos Awareness certificate (training can be provided)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Minimum 5 years experience preferred but not essential
  • Proven experience diagnosing faults on domestic gas heating systems

Desirable:

  • Previous domestic repair experience
  • Additional gas or renewable qualifications
  • Strong first-time fix rate
