Overview

In this role you will provide Tier 2 support and engineering expertise for MAM and post-production platforms within a hybrid on-premises and cloud environment. You will handle incident management, maintenance planning, and coordination with cross-functional teams to keep production running during live events. You will collaborate on engineering projects, document workflows, and design centralized processes for MAM and post-production. This is a hands-on position in a dynamic, international sports broadcasting context with a focus on reliable, scalable technology delivery. You will join a team delivering WBD Sports' technology backbone across Europe, enabling high-quality content at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 2 support and handle escalations from Level 0/1, coordinating incident follow-ups with internal and external teams
  • Maintain platform day-to-day health and performance, plan maintenance and coordinate upgrades
  • Lead short-term engineering projects and collaborate with Tier 3 engineering
  • Gather workflow requirements from WBD Sports, TNT Sports, and Eurosport, and produce workflow and project documentation
  • Design centralized workflows across MAM and Post-Production platforms and support change management for new projects

Key requirements

  • Degree in Technology, Engineering, Broadcast, or a related field
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented with customer-service focus
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Broadcast Technology in a support or engineering role
  • Experience with MAM and Post-Production tools
  • Extensive broadcast technical background (IP video 2110, AES67, NMOS, video/audio formats and codecs)
  • Good understanding of IT technologies (networks, virtualization, storage, cloud services, security)
  • Willingness to work shifts, on-call rotation, and occasional travel
