Do you want to work for a company who are proud, integral and ground breaking? We are looking for an Excavator Driver to join our team at Ladybank Fife, Scotland on a full time basis. We offer a genuine long-term career path and a positive working culture.

Rock Solid Processing Ltd are market leaders in the recovery and recycling of metals and aggregates produced from Waste to Energy Plant Incinerator Bottom Ash (IBA) throughout Europe. Our Excavator Drivers ensure that the various material flows from the installation are processed correctly so that the production of the installation does not stagnate. In addition to material handling, our operator assists the installation manager with the daily maintenance of the machines and the SOI.

Duties include:

  • Being responsible for safety of you and your colleagues
  • Able to drive processed material from piles and place/load onto a truck/dumper
  • Able to drive unprocessed bottom ash to crane for reprocessing process
  • Weigh and empty containers of Non-Ferro
  • Ability to handle Excavator and/or Wheel Loader
  • Ensure correct administration of the various material flows
  • Keep machine in orderly condition and use in correct manner
  • Perform daily maintenance and machine checks
  • Able to monitor production process and intervene in event of malfunctions or obstructions
  • Help support the installation manager in malfunctions, repairs or maintenance
  • Help to manually clean the installation as required
  • Work within team environment promoting motivated culture
  • Able to learn quickly and work to set H&S standards
  • Able to become familiar with the weighing system
  • Become sufficiently familiar with the installation and the production process
