We are looking for a Wheel Loader / Excavator Driver to join our team at Cowdenbeath and Ladybank on a full-time basis. We offer a genuine long-term career path and a positive working culture.
Rock Solid Processing Ltd are market leaders in the recovery and recycling of metals and aggregates produced from Waste to Energy Plant Incinerator Bottom Ash (IBA) throughout Europe.
Our Wheel Loader / Excavator Drivers ensure that the material flows from the installation are processed correctly so that the production of the installation does not stagnate. In addition to material handling, the operator is an integral part of our team and assists the installation manager with the daily maintenance of the machines and the SOI.
Duties include:
- Effectively drive processed material from piles to place/load onto a truck/dumper
- Able to drive unprocessed bottom ash to crane for reprocessing process
- Be proficient in weighing and emptying containers of Non-Ferro
- Show ability to handle 360 Excavator over 10tn and/or Wheel Loader
- To ensure correct administration of the various material flows
- To ensure machine is in orderly condition and used in correct manner
- Be responsible for the safety of you and your colleagues
- Able to complete daily maintenance and accurate machine checks
- Able to monitor production process and intervene in event of malfunctions or obstructions
- Confident to support the installation manager in malfunctions, repairs or maintenance
- Help to manually clean the installation as required
- Happy to work within team environment promoting motivated culture
- Able to learn quickly and work to set H&S standards
- Become sufficiently familiar with the installation and the production process
- Able to work on campaigns at other locations as required
