The work is long-term, on your own patch, completing 2 jobs per day. We work as a team, back each other up and have a bit of fun along the way. You'll work from home, with travel generally no more than an hour, so you won't be sent all over the country. Pay and support * £275 per day once live, paid weekly as CIS or Ltd * Ongoing work with no gaps between jobs * 3-day induction in Bolton, so you're never thrown in at the deep end * Support from our direct engineers and managers throughout, plus cross-training to build your skills Domestic EV charger installation * Installing, testing and commissioning AC (7.4kW to 22kW) charge points, with DC fast-charging units (40kW to 350kW) where required * Site surveys: assessing properties, consumer units and cable routes to plan the best charger position * Testing and compliance: electrical testing, RCD verification, earthing (including open-PEN fault protection) and registering notifiable work under Part P * Submitting DNO notifications for new grid loads * Fault diagnosis, repairs and maintenance, including hardware and software connection issues * Walking customers through the charger and companion app * Completing certificates and paperwork accurately, and leaving customers' premises clean and tidy What we need from you * NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations * City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent * At least 1 year's experience installing domestic EV chargers * A valid UK driving licence * Good customer service skills, face to face and over the phone * A clean, tidy and professional image * Your own tools and test equipment Desirable, not essential * OZEV-approved installer status * Familiarity with brands such as Sync Energy, Ohme, Cord and Hypervolt
