Subcontract Domestic Ventilation Engineer Location: Kent, London & Essex Job Type: Self-employed Subcontract Working Days: Monday–Friday Pay: Minimum £320 per day + price work on top Start Date: ASAP We are recruiting experienced Subcontract Domestic Ventilation Engineers to support an established business delivering planned and remedial maintenance across domestic ventilation systems. This is an excellent opportunity offering a guaranteed minimum day rate of £320, with additional price-work earnings on top. There is a consistent pipeline of work across Kent, London and Essex, with materials supplied and jobs organised in advance. What you'll be doing * Carrying out planned maintenance and remedial work on domestic MVHR and MEV systems * Servicing units, changing filters and completing fault-finding * Repairing and replacing fans, controllers and ductwork * Carrying out airflow testing and commissioning checks * Recording results and completing job reports with photographic evidence * Working professionally in occupied properties and maintaining good relationships with residents What you'll need * Proven experience working with domestic MVHR and MEV systems * Ability to fault-find on fans, controls and basic electrical connections * Experience with airflow measurement and commissioning * BPEC Domestic Ventilation qualification or equivalent desirable * Own van and tools * Public liability insurance * UTR and CIS registration * Good communication skills and a professional approach when working in tenants' homes * Based within a commutable distance of Kent, London or Essex What's on offer * Guaranteed minimum £320 per day, with price work on top * Consistent pipeline of planned and remedial maintenance work * Monday–Friday working * Materials supplied by the client * Jobs pre-booked with tenants and provided with addresses, dates, AM/PM slots and work order numbers * Weekly payment via Rock Recruitment on signed-off work * Immediate start available If you're an experienced Domestic Ventilation Engineer looking for consistent subcontract work with a strong minimum day rate and additional price-work earning potential, we'd like to hear from you
