Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer Location: South East London Paying: £40,000 - £45,000 w/ Van and Fuel Card + Overtime/Call Out Job Type: Permanent We are looking for an experienced and motivated Pump Engineer to join a succesful contractor. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repair of a range of pumping equipment, with a particular focus on commercial booster sets and sewage pump systems. Key Responsibilities * Service, maintain and repair commercial and booster pump sets on social housing estates. * Carry out maintenance and repairs on booster, sewage and wastewater pumping stations. * Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on pumps, motors, control panels and associated equipment. * Carry out pump installations, replacements and commissioning. * Inspect, test and maintain pump systems to ensure reliable operation. * Complete service reports, job sheets and maintenance records. * Respond to reactive breakdowns and planned preventative maintenance visits. Requirements * Previous experience as a Pump Engineer or similar mechanical/electrical engineering role. * Good working knowledge of booster sets and sewage pumps. * Experience fault-finding on single and three-phase electrical systems. * Knowledge of pump controls, inverters and control panels. * Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. * Full UK driving license Benefits * Company van and fuel card with private use * PDA and uniform * Annual leave allowance * Company pension
