Salary: £38,000 w/ Van and Fuel Card, OTE £42,000

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out electrical repairs, maintenance, and fault finding in domestic properties
  • Install and replace sockets, switches, consumer units, lighting, and other electrical components
  • Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and safety standards
  • Complete job reports and certification accurately using handheld devices or paperwork
  • Provide a professional and respectful service when working in tenants' homes

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
  • ECS card
  • AM2
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
  • Experience working in domestic properties
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good communication and customer service skills

Desirable

  • 2391 or equivalent Testing & Inspection qualification
  • Previous experience working in social housing or local authority contracts
  • Experience using PDA systems for job reporting
