Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical repairs, maintenance, and fault finding in domestic properties
- Install and replace sockets, switches, consumer units, lighting, and other electrical components
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and safety standards
- Complete job reports and certification accurately using handheld devices or paperwork
- Provide a professional and respectful service when working in tenants' homes
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
- ECS card
- AM2
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
- Experience working in domestic properties
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Good communication and customer service skills
Desirable
- 2391 or equivalent Testing & Inspection qualification
- Previous experience working in social housing or local authority contracts
- Experience using PDA systems for job reporting
