We have a permanent position looking for an experienced gas/oil engineer to carry out boiler installs and associated plumbing, service gas/oil boilers (training can be provided for the oil side), fault-finding and repairs within domestic and commercial properties. This is suitable for someone that has previously been self-employed and is now looking for a permanent role and a career with the company.
- Must live within a maximum 30 minutes commute to the office in Writtle (Essential)
- Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom
- First class face-to-face customer service and communication skills
- Able to survey for new boiler installations and associated plumbing (Essential)
- Able to work unsupervised and manage your own workload
- Current Gas Safe Registration (Essential)
- Gas Safe Card & ACS (Essential)
Requirement:
- 3+ years experience as a qualified gas/oil engineer (Essential)
- 3+ years experience installing, servicing & gas and oil (optional) boilers as well as strong fault-finding/diagnostic experience (Essential)
- NVQ/City & Guilds plumbing qualifications (or equivalent)
- Fault finding and repairs on central heating systems
