With a growing portfolio of events and ambitious plans for expansion, we are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Marketing Manager to lead the next phase of our growth.

This role is responsible for driving ticket sales, growing audiences, developing brand strategy, and delivering best-in-class marketing campaigns across the entire Rock N Roll Circus portfolio.

The Marketing Manager will lead the strategic development and execution of all marketing activity across Rock N Roll Circus events. Working closely with the Festival Director, programming team, commercial partners, and external agencies, you will be responsible for building audience demand, maximising ticket revenue, strengthening the Rock N Roll Circus brand and ensuring every campaign delivers measurable commercial results. You will oversee all aspects of marketing including brand, digital, content, CRM, paid media, PR, partnerships, and audience development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Marketing Strategy
    • Develop and implement annual marketing strategies across the full festival portfolio.
    • Lead campaign planning from launch through to event delivery.
    • Build audience growth strategies across existing and new markets.
    • Develop long-term brand positioning and audience engagement plans.
    • Identify new opportunities to increase attendance, revenue and brand awareness.
  • Ticket Sales & Revenue Growth
    • Own ticket sales targets across all events.
    • Develop data-led campaigns to drive sales and maximise conversion.
    • Work closely with ticketing partners to optimise customer journeys.
    • Monitor sales performance and adjust campaign activity accordingly.
    • Deliver reporting and forecasting to senior leadership.
  • Brand & Creative
    • Act as guardian of the Rock N Roll Circus brand.
    • Lead the development of campaign creative, messaging and storytelling.
    • Ensure consistency across all customer touchpoints.
    • Drive innovation in content, fan engagement and audience experience.
  • Digital Marketing
    • Oversee paid media strategy including Meta, Google, TikTok and emerging platforms.
    • Manage CRM, email marketing and customer retention programmes.
    • Drive website performance, conversion optimisation and customer acquisition.
    • Lead data and audience segmentation strategies.
  • Content & Social Media
    • Develop year-round content strategies that grow audience engagement.
    • Oversee social media, video production and creator partnerships.
    • Lead content capture across festival weekends.
    • Build artist, influencer and community engagement programmes.
  • Partnerships & Commercial Marketing
    • Support the commercial team in securing and activating brand partnerships.
    • Develop co-marketing opportunities with sponsors and partners.
    • Ensure partners receive maximum value through integrated marketing campaigns.
    • Work alongside PR and communications teams to maximise exposure.
Skills & Experience
  • Essential
    • Minimum 6 years' experience in marketing roles.
    • Proven track record delivering successful marketing campaigns within live events, festivals, music, sport or entertainment.
    • Strong commercial understanding with experience managing ticketed events.
    • Excellent knowledge of digital marketing and customer acquisition.
    • Experience managing significant marketing budgets.
    • Strong leadership and people management skills.
    • Data-driven decision maker with excellent analytical capabilities.
    • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Desirable
    • Experience working within festivals, live music or cultural events.
    • CRM and audience development expertise.
    • Partnership and sponsorship activation experience.
    • Experience launching events into new markets.
    • Passion for music, culture and live entertainment.
