About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Renewable Electrician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in renewable energy installations, including solar PV, battery storage, and air source heat pumps. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrician looking to specialise in the renewable sector and work on cutting-edge sustainable projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and commission renewable energy systems, including solar PV, battery storage, and heat pumps.
  • Carry out electrical wiring, testing, and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults within renewable energy systems.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and installers to ensure seamless integration of renewable systems.
  • Ensure compliance with the latest wiring regulations and health & safety standards.
  • Complete necessary documentation and certifications for electrical installations.

Requirements

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) certification (essential).
  • Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation or equivalent (essential).
  • Testing and Inspection 2391.
  • Previous experience working in the renewable energy sector (desirable).
  • Solar PV, Battery Storage, or EV Charger installation experience (preferred).
  • Full UK driving licence.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £48,000.00 per year
