We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Electrician to join our team in Norfolk. You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of electrical repairs and installations in both occupied and void properties. This is a hands-on role where your expertise will directly contribute to maintaining high standards of service and safety. This role is a full-time position, working 40 hours Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform efficient and high-quality electrical repairs and upgrades.
  • Carry out planned maintenance and installations, including kitchen and bathroom electrics.
  • Conduct fault finding, testing, and inspection of domestic dwellings.
  • Complete all relevant NICEIC paperwork.
  • Respond professionally to customer enquiries and liaise with our Operations Centre.
  • Mentor apprentices or trainees when required.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and company-issued devices in excellent condition.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Data Protection, and company policies.
  • Support continuous improvement and value-for-money initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of the building and construction industry.
  • Experience in property maintenance and working within the social housing sector.
  • Confident decision-maker with problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Health & Safety practices.

Qualifications:

  • 17th Edition (Essential), 18th Edition (Desirable).
  • 2391 Testing & Inspection (Desirable).
  • Health & Safety training (Desirable).
  • Full UK Driving Licence (Essential).

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Technically proficient in core and associated trades.
  • Good IT skills, including use of tablets and Microsoft packages.
