We are seeking a skilled Heat Pump Installer to join our team, specialising in the installation and maintenance of air and ground source heat pump systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with renewable energy technologies and a strong background in plumbing and heating installations, including underfloor heating and unvented cylinders. With projects spanning domestic, commercial, and new-build sectors across the North of England, this role offers variety and the opportunity to work on innovative, sustainable energy systems.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00-5:00pm
Responsibilities:
- Installation & Setup: Install heat pump systems following manufacturer specifications and local regulations.
- Maintenance & Repair: Perform maintenance services and troubleshoot issues with heat pump systems.
- System Testing & Commissioning: Conduct tests to ensure proper system functionality and adjust settings as needed.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers regarding installation, system operation, and maintenance.
- Documentation & Reporting: Keep accurate records of installations, service calls, and parts used.
- Compliance & Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and comply with local codes and industry standards.
- Training & Development: Stay current with industry trends and improve skills through ongoing training.
What we're looking for:
- Qualified Professional: Must be a qualified plumber, pipe fitter, or heating engineer. Required: Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing. Domestic HWSS (Unvented) Regulations Qualification.
- Heating and Hot Water Systems: Must have experience in installing unvented cylinders, radiator circuits, and underfloor heating.
- Renewable Energy Technologies: Must have experience installing air and/or ground source heat pumps.
- Electrical Work: Familiarity with minor electrical works is preferred.
- Extra Credit: HETAS, Gas Safe, F-Gas, or ventilation certifications would be highly beneficial. CSCS card.
