We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Electrician to join our team in Norfolk. You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of electrical repairs and installations in both occupied and void properties. This is a hands-on role where your expertise will directly contribute to maintaining high standards of service and safety.
This role is a full-time position, working 40 hours Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch.
Key Responsibilities- Perform efficient and high-quality electrical repairs and upgrades.
- Carry out planned maintenance and installations, including kitchen and bathroom electrics.
- Conduct fault finding, testing, and inspection of domestic dwellings.
- Complete all relevant NICEIC paperwork.
- Respond professionally to customer enquiries and liaise with our Operations Centre.
- Mentor apprentices or trainees when required.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company-issued devices in excellent condition.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Data Protection, and company policies.
- Support continuous improvement and value-for-money initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of the building and construction industry.
- Experience in property maintenance and working within the social housing sector.
- Confident decision-maker with problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Health & Safety practices.
- 17th Edition (Essential), 18th Edition (Desirable).
- 2391 Testing & Inspection (Desirable).
- Health & Safety training (Desirable).
- Full UK Driving Licence (Essential).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Technically proficient in core and associated trades.
- Good IT skills, including use of tablets and Microsoft packages.
