Due to continued business growth, we have a new opportunity for a Chemical Delivery Driver to join our dedicated team which works remotely in the North West.
As a Chemical Delivery Driver you will be responsible for the timely delivery of the company chemical orders to our clients. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager your key responsibilities are:
- Safety - Assess each job for potential hazards to ensure complete safe working practices can be adhered to.
- Wear protective items of clothing and use appropriate safety equipment for the job being undertaken.
- Report any accident, incident, damage or near miss to Supervisor.
- Ensure own and colleagues' safety at all times.
Delivery - Load vehicle (using forklift) safely with the day's chemicals required. Ensure tachograph is in use when using our larger vehicle and liaise with office to download card data regularly.
Required Skills:
- Forklift Licence (Counterbalance Reach Truck)
- Full clean driving license, with ADR
- Exposure to handling chemicals and COSHH
