Rochling is a world‑leading company in thermoplastics and composite machining, training the next generation through a mechanical apprenticeship. In the first year, apprentices attend the GET full time, followed by two years of on‑site training that develops practical skills and prepares them to become skilled engineers. Rochling Industrial supplies a range of semi‑finished products—sheets, rods, tubes, profiles and precision‑machined parts—using state‑of‑the‑art CNC machinery to meet high‑precision, high‑quality specifications.
What You'll Do
The apprentice works with a skilled machinist, learning to operate manual machines, CNC machines (including Mazak lathes, Haas 5‑axis, Haas routers and Datrons), and to inspect parts using engineered drawings. They also gain exposure to CAD/CAM and the Inspection Department.
Training Outcome
Upon completion, apprentices will be offered a skilled machinist role within the business.
