Productions Team Lead - 2nd Shift

Where we need you

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support production operators in daily manufacturing activities.
  • Ensure work instructions, quality standards, and production requirements are followed.
  • Operate assembly equipment and molding machines as needed.
  • Monitor production processes and address quality or efficiency concerns.
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
  • Observe machine operation and communicate equipment malfunctions or quality issues to supervisors and technical personnel.
  • Support technical teams during equipment changeovers and preventative maintenance activities.
  • Assist with basic equipment troubleshooting and error resolution.
  • Train and mentor new production operators.
  • Promote and maintain 5S workplace organization standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Stop and start production equipment within established operating guidelines.
  • Assist with continuous improvement efforts to enhance productivity, safety, and quality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Employee in good standing with demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of the SCR Tank Cell.
  • Previous manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Preferred

  • Injection molding experience.
  • Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience leading teams in a production environment.
  • Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
  • Lift and move materials weighing up to 35 pounds.
  • Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and production equipment.
