Essex County Council (ECC) is supporting Rochford District Council in recruiting a Land Charges Assistant on an initial 3‑month, temporary contract with a view to extend. This role offers fully remote working after an initial training period.
Work Location: The Launchpad, Southend Airport Business Park, Rochford, SS4 1YH.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Processing planning/Land Charges data for both new and existing applications
- Transferring Land Registry information into a digital system
- Plotting applications on digital maps to support planning workflows
- Supporting the wider Land Charges team during the digital migration project
