The Onboarding and Experience Specialist is responsible for executing all onboarding related activities for new team members and transfers for the system. This role includes processing in-seat promotions, demotions, lateral moves, and additional jobs for team members, ensuring a positive onboarding experience. The Specialist will also serve as a point of continued support for new team members through their first year of hire at Rochester Regional Health, helping them acclimate to the health system and providing an experience where they feel welcomed and have a sense of belonging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with new team members and existing employees throughout the pre-employment and transfer onboarding process.
  • Mentor candidates through the onboarding process, communicating next steps and timelines to ensure validation of qualifications in a timely manner.
  • Communicate candidate status to key stakeholders such as hiring managers, recruiters, learning and development, and any additional departments throughout the onboarding process.
  • Manage all pre-employment background checks required by the company or regulatory authorities.
  • Partner with affiliations to schedule pre-employment health appointments for new team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Support new team members through their first year of employment.

  • Communicate identified issues related to new team members' experience to leadership.
  • Collect and document new team member feedback and share with appropriate parties.

Pay Range
