RESPONSIBILITIES
- Patient Care - Responsible for radiography of patients, including CT scans and Interventional CT-guided procedures; provide on-call coverage for the CT section of Radiology; follow up on patient care issues/needs.
- Documentation - Maintain accountability for proper documentation of exams and procedures; document performance of studies in patient charts.
- Daily Maintenance - Assist with day-to-day supervision of the CT team; clean, restock, and prepare rooms.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Two-year college degree in Radiologic Technologist in Applied Science or equivalent.
- NYS license in Radiologic Technology (or) must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of employment.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification (ARRT-R) within six months of employment.
- Effective 7/16/2018 - NYS Injection Certification within six months of employment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to work in various software applications preferred.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
PAY RANGE $32.00 - $44.00
