Function as the clinical resource for LPN, MOA and Clerical staff; ensure staff is rounding on patients, consistently using AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank you); recognize staff for a job well done or for role modeling; coach staff privately when performance is below standard; participate in the selection of new staff and ensure peer interview process is followed.

Patient Care - Responsible for the success of the practice pillar goals, working closely with the triad leadership to achieve patient satisfaction, employee satisfaction, financial growth and quality goals that are aligned with the organizational goals.

Issue Resolution - Resolve any issues or concerns at the time of the rounding; follow up any concerns with lead physician and nurse manager; identify and know of all high-risk patients and ensure plan of care is current.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Associate’s degree in nursing required. Current New York State Registered Nurse License required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Minimum of 2 years RN experience preferred. Prior leadership experience preferred.

EDUCATION - AS: Nursing (Required)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS - M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS - RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED), BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA).

PAY RANGE - $80,753.00 - $110,292.00
