The Position

  • Partner with the business accountable and team to drive development of a vision and strategy for their respective topic.
  • Translate strategy to roadmap with defined opportunities (e.g., initiatives, assets, modalities) in collaboration with the Portfolio Chapter.
  • Scope, plan and execute the program/project/operational roadmap to ensure solutions are adopted and intended value is realized within the agreed timeframe and in an iterative manner.
  • Contribute to and manage team processes for development of critical deliverables (e.g., Lifecycle Strategic Plan, Investment Proposal, Integrated Evidence Plan [IEP], etc).
  • Enable informed decision making within the team, including facilitating decision points with governance bodies.
  • Measure project specific outcomes in collaboration with Project Lead & Sponsor.
  • Optimize team performance by enabling team norms, effective decision making, driving progress, meeting design/facilitation, simplifying processes/work and leveraging Roche approaches such as Outcomes Based Planning (OBP) & coaching for effective change leaders.
  • Develop teams to work in Agile ways, including empowered and self‑managed teams, and creating a culture of feedback.
  • Ensure the wider business is aware of the strategy/project and its impact, identifying concerns and opportunities early.
  • Actively support and model talent flow to the work with the highest impact across PSE to deliver more patient benefit.

  • You apply business knowledge and expertise to ensure maximum value to the company. This may include, but is not limited to, molecule development lifecycle, marketing application filings, transformational initiatives, large technology systems and business process changes, etc.
