Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be joining our expanding sales team at an exciting time of growth.
Due to our continued market success and expansion plans, we are recruiting an additional highly motivated individual to play a vital part in reshaping the healthcare landscape. Your deep understanding of customer needs and our collaborative environment will ensure continued success in a highly impactful field.
Role and ResponsibilitiesThe role offers an opportunity to join our Tissue Diagnostics sales team in the Central UK region, covering the West of Central England or Wales. You will be promoting the value proposition of our products with key clinical, procurement and finance stakeholders in West of Central England or Wales. As part of your remit, you will mainly focus on:
- Taking a lead in the account sales strategy and execution for the product portfolio on your territory, working closely with Customer Account Managers, Product Specialists, Managed Laboratory Service Team and Workflow IT Specialists.
- Managing and coordinating complex pan pathology procurements, utilising self-discipline and a creative approach to ensure sales methodology is delivered on time and in full. This will involve engagement with all levels of the key decision making team, including senior management.
- Identifying market development and changes in NHS landscape on your territory (payment, procurement, tendering, and NHS processes) to maximise opportunities/minimise threats.
- Developing innovative strategies to retain existing Roche sites and acquire new sites.
Educated to BSc (Hons) / BA Degree or equivalent in a life science or related experience such as a biomedical scientist background and preferably with previous experience of field sales or knowledge of laboratories and the Roche Tissue Diagnostics product portfolio.
You will be skilled in defining customer needs and building strong and effective relationships and have knowledge of best practices in Cellular pathology (especially IHC) and cancer pathways.
In order to be effective in this role you will need to be resilient, tenacious and both adaptable and flexible to work within a changing environment. You have the blend of discipline to follow best practice and creativity to re-define what that looks like. You will understand barriers to acceptance of new solutions and be able to drive positive sales outcomes.
You will be self-motivated, focused and methodical, with the ability to work alone, yet readily communicate and share knowledge to the team. You will have the ability to sell with high credibility and be able to turn strategy into actionable implementation. You will drive commercial excellence in your territory by using the latest digital sales engagement tools.
