Product Specialist (Applications) – Scotland and North of England

Opportunity

In this role, you will be a key part of our field support team, focusing primarily on Roche Tissue Diagnostics instruments. You will build strong customer relationships and provide a high standard of service through a variety of critical functions.

• Lead installation projects, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement system modifications
• Provide training and support to laboratory scientists
• Optimize systems and provide expert consultancy on workflow design
• Attend customer review meetings and support product demonstrations
• Collaborate with the wider Roche team to ensure our customers receive the best possible support

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to bring a thorough understanding of the medical diagnostics industry, gained either from a hospital laboratory or a similar diagnostics solutions provider. You must also have experience in implementing best‑in‑class laboratory practices.

• You are a tenacious and resilient professional who thrives under pressure and can manage shifting priorities
• You excel at troubleshooting and can provide effective support for pathology laboratory solutions
• You are highly motivated by exceeding customer expectations and are comfortable working with minimum supervision
• You are an analytical thinker, at ease with technical and scientific information
• You can plan your work schedule and extensive travel arrangements across the North UK autonomously
• You will be based in Scotland or the North East of England (or willing to relocate), with easy access to motorway links to enable travel across the mainland UK to support customers

The role covers the North UK region, including Scotland and the North of England.
