Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will join the Tissue Diagnostics sales team in the South West UK region, covering Devon, Somerset, Bristol, Dorset, Hampshire, and Wiltshire NHS Networks (S1, S2, S3 & S6). You will promote the value proposition of our products with key clinical, procurement, and finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the account sales strategy and execution for the product portfolio in your territory, collaborating with Customer Account Managers, Product Specialists, the Managed Laboratory Service Team, and Workflow IT Specialists.
  • Manage and coordinate the Tissue Diagnostics response within complex pan‑pathology procurements, ensuring sales methodology is delivered on time and in full. Engage all levels of the decision‑making team, including senior management.
  • Identify market development opportunities and changes in the NHS landscape on your territory (payment, procurement, tendering, and NHS processes) to maximise opportunities and minimise threats.
  • Develop innovative strategies to retain existing Roche sites and acquire new sites.

Qualifications and Experience

  • BSc (Hons) / BA Degree or equivalent in a life science or related field, e.g., biomedical science background.
  • Experience in field sales and/or knowledge of laboratories and the Roche Tissue Diagnostics product portfolio.
  • Skilled at defining customer needs and building strong, effective relationships. Ideally, knowledge of best practices in cellular pathology (especially IHC) and cancer pathways.
  • Resilient, tenacious, adaptable, and flexible; able to work within a changing environment while balancing discipline with creativity.
  • Self‑motivated, focused, and methodical, with the ability to work independently and communicate with the team. Proven ability to sell with high credibility and translate strategy into actionable implementation, using the latest digital sales engagement tools.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an exciting and diverse industry and a highly successful team while developing and gaining invaluable knowledge and experience.
