Roche Health Care are looking to recruit a Laundry Assistant to join our friendly team at Hartshead Manor, Cleckheaton.

Salary: £12.21phr

Hours: BANK - 8.00-2.00pm - 2.00-18.00pm - could do school hours

We provide a range of care and support services for our older residents, some of whom have dementia. Our main priority is to find people with the right values, behaviours and attitudes that match our own. Above all, we want someone that shares our values. These are:

Main purpose of the job: Working as part of a team to maintain high standards of cleanliness of linens, towels and service users' personal clothing and ensure the adequate supply of these items at all times.

Education level: Previous experience is preferable. Good communication skills.

Experience: Experience in working in an environment of older people is preferred but not essential. Evidence of a high level of commitment to personal development, training and education.

Personal qualities: To have a genuine interest in working within a caring environment. Have an ability to communicate effectively with all levels. To be able to work as part of a team. To be a kind and considerate person who is innovative and caring.
