Location: North Kirklees

Salary: from ÂŁ12.91 - ÂŁ13.47phr - dependant on shifts as Senior Care Support or Care Support - this role would include part Senior and part Carer shifts

Hours: TBC with shift pattern - alternate weekends

On Call payments for weekdays and weekends

Roche Home Care is expanding, and we’re looking for a dedicated Senior Care/Care Support Worker to join our friendly and compassionate team. We provide high‑quality care and support services to our tenants, and we’re searching for someone who shares our values and commitment to excellence.

Main Purpose of the Role

  • Deliver a consistently high standard of care while leading and supporting the care team.
  • Provide home support services that promote dignity, independence, and individuality.
  • Conduct medication and documentation audits.
  • Carry out spot checks, inductions, supervisions, and risk assessments.
  • Support office staff when required.
  • Ensure the needs of older people are met with professionalism and empathy.
  • Participate in care planning and be willing to undertake medication administration training if needed.
  • Demonstrate commitment to personal development, training, and continuous learning.

Essential Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care would be preferrable, but willing to train the right person.
  • Experience working in a care home setting.
  • Strong understanding of the needs of older people.
