Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Education AV Business Development Manager to join our team and support the expansion of our education division across the South of England.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced education technology or AV sales professional looking to develop and grow an established territory.

Working with schools, colleges, universities and multi-academy trusts, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing key customer relationships and promoting Roche AV's range of audio visual, collaboration and classroom technology solutions.

We are specifically looking for candidates with experience selling AV, collaboration or education technology solutions into the education sector.

You will understand the challenges faced by education customers and be confident engaging with IT managers, network managers, senior leadership teams, estates teams and procurement professionals.

You'll be supported by a highly experienced technical, project delivery and marketing team, allowing you to focus on developing opportunities and growing your territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development
  • Identify, develop and secure new opportunities within schools, colleges, universities and multi-academy trusts.
  • Actively generate and manage a pipeline of opportunities across your territory.
  • Build relationships with key decision makers throughout the education sector.
  • Develop and implement account development and territory growth plans.
  • Generate opportunities through networking, framework agreements, events, referrals and proactive outreach.
  • Account Management
  • Develop and grow relationships with existing education customers.
  • Conduct regular customer meetings and account reviews.
  • Identify opportunities for technology upgrades, refurbishment projects and new installations.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Reporting & Administration
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and opportunity pipelines.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and updates.
  • Track activity and performance against agreed objectives.
  • Work closely with marketing on education-focused campaigns and events.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Proven experience in education sector sales.
  • Experience selling AV, collaboration or education technology solutions.
  • Strong business development and account management skills.
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline and achieving revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing a regional territory.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

  • Existing relationships within schools, colleges, universities or multi-academy trusts.
  • Knowledge of education procurement frameworks
  • Understanding of current education technology trends and funding opportunities.
