About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Drama to join a high-performing and well-resourced department with a strong track record of academic success, consistently achieving ALPS Grade 2 over the past three years, including an exceptional ALPS Grade 1 in 2022.
Responsibilities:
- Teach allocated students by planning teaching to achieve progression of learning in accordance with RSFC policies.
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students are supported to succeed.
- Using data to monitor student progress and implement strategies to support achievement.
- Participating in departmental planning, assessment, and curriculum development.
- Monitoring and intervening during teaching to ensure effective learning and maintain a safe environment in which students feel confident.
- Engaging in the college’s extensive enrichment programme and wider college life.
- Contributing to the sharing of best practice and continuous improvement within the Drama faculty.

You will be joining RSFC at a very exciting time in its development and there are always opportunities for career progression for hardworking and resilient colleagues. Contract of employment will be with the school governing board who is the employer, and not Rochdale Council. This is a temporary contract to cover for maternity leave.
