Rochdale Sixth Form College — one of the top-performing sixth form colleges in the country — is seeking a committed and community-minded individual to join our Local Governing Board as a School Governor. RSFC is proud of its exceptional academic outcomes, its Ofsted Outstanding status, and its unwavering commitment to supporting young people to achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Help set and monitor the College's strategic direction
- Provide constructive challenge and support to senior leaders
- Oversee performance, standards, and student outcomes
- Ensure strong governance, accountability, and statutory compliance
- Champion the values and ethos of RSFC and Altus Education Partnership
- Act in the best interests of students, staff, and the wider community
This role requires attendance at around five meetings per year, plus preparation and occasional involvement in panels or college events.
