Hopwood Medical Centre is a well-established GMS Training Practice with an excellent reputation and a stable base of partners and management. We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and forward-thinking GP to join our team. The post is partially ARRS funded and therefore you will need to have gained your Certificate of Completion of Training in the last 2 years and not held a previous substantive post.
Currently, there are 6 GPs and 2 Advanced Clinical Practitioners. The practice is an active member of the Heywood Primary Care Network with a number of ARRS Staff. There is no extended hours commitment, and morning visits are partially covered by PCN ANP along with the Acute Visiting Scheme for late visits. The surgery has recently been extended and fully refurbished, with an expanding list size of 9700 and great local amenities. We use EMIS and Docman, and have excellent nursing and administrative staff with high QOF achievement. There are opportunities for development of interests and services. As a supportive practice, we recognise the importance of teamwork.
