Are you passionate about technology and delivering excellent customer service? Join our ICT Service Desk team and play a key role in supporting staff across the organisation. You will be responsible for logging, diagnosing and resolving ICT incidents and service requests, providing technical support, and ensuring customers receive timely updates.
Working closely with ICT teams and external suppliers, you will help maintain service levels, improve processes, contribute to knowledge management, and support ITIL best practices. The ICT Service is a diverse and expanding team dedicated to delivering high-quality technology services across Rochdale Borough Council. As part of the ICT Service Desk, you will be the first point of contact for colleagues, providing professional, customer-focused support and ensuring incidents and service requests are resolved efficiently.
You will diagnose and resolve technical issues, maintain accurate records, manage service requests, and work closely with ICT teams and external suppliers to deliver excellent service. You will also contribute to continual service improvement, knowledge management, and ITIL best practice.
