The Headteacher and Governors are looking for an engaging, motivated and pragmatic School Business Manager to come and join our Leadership Team. This role is pivotal within the school and is responsible for the day-to-day management of our administration function, finance, human resources, premises, health. You will be making strategic decisions that will have impact across the school and so we will be looking for candidates that are comfortable working autonomously as well as being a high performing team player. You will need excellent organisational and communication skills, must possess excellent leadership qualities and have the ability to successfully manage ever-changing priorities! Life in a school is never dull!
It is desirable that you may have worked in a school before but this is not essential; we are looking for a candidate who possesses the right skills to drive change and improvement and make a positive impact in our school.
Attributes
- Excellent customer service skills, including a good telephone manner and managing difficult conversations.
- Secure knowledge and experience of budget and financial management and the use of financial management systems.
- Arbor experience is desirable (but not essential).
- Previous school experience is desirable (but not essential).
