Heybrook Primary and Nursery School is a large, multi-cultural primary school situated in Rochdale. The School currently has around 685 children from 2 to 11 years of age. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated School Business Manager to join our busy administrative team. We are a three-form entry school with a large co-located Nursery School. Successful candidates will join a very supportive team and be provided with high quality induction, CPD and support.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and motivated Business Manager with excellent customer care standards who can manage varied and demanding tasks and meet strict deadlines. You will be a valued member of the leadership team, helping inform the strategic direction of the school. The candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, enthusiasm and a commitment to working as part of a team as well as good organisation skills. You will line manage the administration team and work closely in conjunction with the Premises Manager, covering this post in times of absence.
As a successful candidate you will:
- Have experience of MIS systems.
- Be able to use your own initiative and work independently.
- Possess excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
- Be competent in a range of IT packages.
- Have a calm, courteous, professional manner and possess good communication skills.
- Have strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise a wide ranging workload and be adaptable to the changing demands of the role.
- Have the ability to maintain accurate records in relation to service provisions.
- Be an integral part of the administrative team.
- Line manage Administrative staff.
- Be a part of the Senior Leadership team and Governors.
- Be exceptionally well organised and able to meet strict deadlines.
- Work effectively in partnership with pupils, parents, staff and Governors.
- Work effectively with external services to support parents/carers.
