Altus Education Partnership is a growing and ambitious multi‑academy trust committed to improving the lives of young people through exceptional education. As we continue to expand, we are seeking an organised, professional and proactive HR & Recruitment Administrator to join our central HR team.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting recruitment and HR administration across our family of schools and colleges. Working closely with the Director of HR and HR Officers, you will help deliver a high‑quality, efficient and customer‑focused HR service. The successful candidate will coordinate all aspects of recruitment administration, from advertising vacancies and organising interviews to supporting pre‑employment checks and onboarding new staff. You will also provide comprehensive HR and payroll administration support, maintain accurate employee records, and ensure compliance with employment and safeguarding requirements. This varied role offers the opportunity to work across all aspects of the employee lifecycle while contributing to the continued growth and success of the Trust.

What We’re Looking For

  • Has previous experience in an HR administration role.
  • Possesses excellent organisational skills and can effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Has strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Can handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Has a strong customer-service focus and enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Has a good understanding of HR processes, employment legislation and GDPR principles.
  • Is proactive, adaptable and committed to continuous professional development.

Experience within an education setting and/or a CIPD qualification (or willingness to work towards one) would be advantageous.
