Salary: School Supports Scale SSP 05 – 06 (£25,583 - £25,989 FTE). Actual Salary £22,471 - £22,828

Contract: Permanent, Term Time + 1 week, 37 hrs a week

Start Date: ASAP

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and organising ingredients, equipment and materials for lessons
  • Supporting teachers and students during practical activities
  • Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and safety
  • Managing stock, resources and equipment efficiently
  • Assisting with displays, curriculum events and enrichment activities
  • Providing administrative and operational support within the department

What We’re Looking For:

  • Has experience in food preparation, catering, hospitality or education settings
  • Understands food hygiene and health & safety procedures
  • Is highly organised, proactive and able to work independently
  • Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Is committed to supporting young people and creating positive learning experiences
  • Holds a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate, or is willing to obtain one
  • Previous experience within a school or Food Technology environment would be an advantage
