Are you an experienced solicitor with a passion for delivering high-quality legal services in Adult Social Care law? We are seeking an Adults Senior Lawyer Team Manager to join our dynamic Legal Services team and play a key role in supporting the Council’s statutory duties and safeguarding responsibilities.
As an Adults Senior Lawyer Team Manager, you will:
- Provide expert legal advice and representation on all aspects of Adult Social Care law, including Mental Capacity Act, Care Act, Court of Protection, and safeguarding matters.
- Lead on complex cases, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice.
- Work collaboratively with internal departments and external partners to achieve positive outcomes for vulnerable adults.
- Supervise and mentor junior lawyers, contributing to the development of the team.
- Support strategic projects and policy development within the Adult Social Care legal framework.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has substantial experience in Adult Social Care law and related litigation.
- Possesses excellent advocacy, negotiation, and drafting skills.
- Can manage a varied and demanding caseload with confidence and professionalism.
- Is excellent at communication, negotiation, and client engagement.
- Has experience supporting talent and team building.
