Premises Manager

Altus Education Partnership is seeking an exceptional Premises Manager to join our team at an exciting time of expansion. You will play a crucial role in maintaining safe, secure and inspiring environments across our Trust\'s growing portfolio of schools and colleges.

About the Role

You will lead the day-to-day management of our estate, ensuring all sites are compliant, well-maintained, and aligned with the DfE\'s Estate Management Competency Framework. From health and safety to strategic planning, you\'ll be the linchpin of operational excellence across our premises.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing site safety, compliance and statutory checks
  • Supervising site teams and contractors
  • Supporting sustainability initiatives and school events
  • Leading premises maintenance, cleaning, and security operations

About You

We\'re looking for someone who is:

  • Skilled in a variety of maintenance disciplines (e.g., electrical, plumbing, grounds)
  • Organised, reliable, and solutions-focused
  • Comfortable working across multiple sites and with minimal supervision
  • Willing to undertake relevant training (e.g., safeguarding, H&S, fire safety)
  • A full UK driving licence and IWFM membership (or willingness to work towards it) would be advantageous.
