About the Role
Facilities Management are looking to appoint a Cleaner in Charge to work at Langley Family Hub, Middleton
The hours are currently 10.5 hours per week Monday 5pm-8.30pm, Tuesday 4pm-6.30pm, Thursday and Friday 4.15pm-6.30pm. Hours maybe be subject to change to meet the needs of the service. Overtime maybe available and will be paid in accordance as required. This is an all year-round contract and holidays can be taken throughout the year subject to approval.
About you
We are looking for someone who is a hard-working, energetic and honest person with excellent customer care skills and the ability to provide a quality service at this busy Family Hub.
The successful candidate will:
- Responsible for maintaining an excellent standard of cleanliness of designated areas in the building and duties will include toilets and associated facilities against an agreed cleaning specification and good attention to detail.
- Able to complete practical handy person tasks.
- Ability to work to tight timescales is essential and a flexible approach
- Be able to work independently using initiative and as part of a team
- Able to communicate clearly with and relate positively to all members of the Family Hub Centre.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety at work
- Ability to recognise the importance of ensuring a secure and safe environment of the site to include record keeping and the completion of compliance tasks.
Experience is essential, although persons with skills appropriate and a willing attitude are invited to apply.
Candidates who are unsuccessful after interview may be considered for casual caretaker/cleaner positions within Facilities Management. The hourly rate for a Casual Cleaner is £13.45 per hour.
